CityLink Restricted Items

CityLink Delivery is committed to providing safe, reliable, and fully compliant service across Durham Region.
However, certain products and packages cannot be transported due to safety rules, legal regulations, and operational
limitations. Therefore, before placing your order, please review the restricted items listed below. This helps protect
both our customers and our drivers, while also ensuring smooth deliveries every day.

Government-Regulated Items

To begin with, CityLink cannot deliver items that fall under strict government regulations. This includes
products such as alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, and prescription medications. Because these
products require licenses or controlled handling, they remain excluded from our service.
Instead, we encourage customers to purchase such items directly from licensed retailers.

Hazardous or Dangerous Goods

Additionally, any goods classified as dangerous or hazardous are strictly prohibited.
Examples include explosives, fireworks, toxic chemicals, flammable liquids, corrosive substances, and
biological materials. Since transporting these could put drivers, customers, and the community at risk,
they are not eligible for delivery through CityLink.

Oversized or Prohibited Packages

Furthermore, CityLink cannot transport items that exceed our size or weight limits.
Bulky furniture, large appliances, or items requiring specialized equipment cannot be accepted.
Because our fleet is designed for small parcels and essentials, oversized packages could delay or
interrupt service for other customers.

Verification & Compliance Notes

Finally, age-restricted items (such as cigarettes or vape products) require valid government ID at delivery.
If ID cannot be provided, delivery will be refused. In addition, orders suspected of containing restricted
goods may be cancelled to comply with Canadian regulations. As a result, we strongly advise customers to
double-check their orders before checkout.
